Pre Tournament Summary: Since his debut in 2004, Monovie has always had a hint of potential but has cracked in crucial games. He missed out on third place to Andrew Townley in his first year and made it to the Semi's in 2005, were poor use of Avatar cost him against James Brown in what was a close game before losing out to Adam may in the third palce play-off. He looked to rectify these errors in 2006 where he put Adam may on the brink of going out at the first hurdle but lost it in a crunch game with Tim Harness that cost him a Semi-final place. At the last outing however he was disastrous and never looked confident, being wiped out by Mark Berkley and being dismissed by James Brown and Andrew Townley. He has to pick himself up for this Tournament and if he can start strongly he could finally make a convincing attack beyond the first round.
