A second successive podium place shows that Andrew has established himself as a contendor on the 40k scene. Took the bronze by the slimmest of margins, it was fair reward for his relentless performance in the group stages. Also claimed the prize for best painted army and took 2nd in the painting competition for his Ultramarine Apothecary.

Pre Tournament Summary: Became the surprise package of last years Tournament after making it all the way to the final. A particular highlight was knocking out Mike Brandon in a tense semi-final that went into extra turns. His out of Tournament form has always generally been good, capable of defeating anyone within OGC however his Tournament form has often been abysmal and he is currently holding the record of seven consecutive losses running from 2005-7. Last year however showed clear signs that his out of Tournament form could apply to the finals themselves. His 2nd place means he avoids the qualifiers which proved to be a tricky affair last year, as he came through with three draws and a loss. He will be fielding his staple Ultramarines this year.
