The Constitution is how OGC works, and should help you identify the key contacts for the
different parts of OGC. The constitution is different to the policies, in that the OGC policies are
what each member and participant is expected to abide by, this document however explains
the running of the club itself.

Roles and Duties
Captain
General administrator, responsible for over viewing and maintaining the clubs
structure and goals
Effective Default Senior and National Co-ordinator
Duties -
Maintain and ensure accurate records of all club events and finance
Contact and co-ordinate with all seniors and regional coordinators on at least a weekly
basis
Inspect personally all regional venues within a quarterly period
Participate in all areas of club to at least minimal levels
Senior
Twice annually elected body responsible for over viewing and maintaining the clubs
structure and goals and to monitor equal senior positions
Duties -
Hold seniors board meeting (open to all) at least twice in a single term
Role of active recruitment and to play ambassador role to other bodies and
organisations
Follow and maintain seniors duties (separate document available on-line)
Regional Co-ordinator
Each region requires a single coordinator to ensure club policies and
standards are upheld in a given area and to prevent risk of groups splintering
Appointed by seniors, reviewed at Seniors board meetings
Judicator
To ensure accurate records and fair play is enabled at relevant OGC events
Appointed unanimously by seniors, reviewed at Seniors board meetings
Must have an excellent understanding of a given system
Must maintain good relationship with seniors to maintain position
Members
The core participants of OGC, whom take part in events and maintain the clubs life
Must follow OGC Policies (separate document available on-line)
Having taken part in a Tournament event or similar (under any sphere) they obtain the
right to vote be voted for at Senior elections
Encouraged to introduce new people to the club
Other Key Constitutional points
i.
To qualify for full membership, individual must be aged 16 or above
ii.
Non-members are allowed to Seniors board meetings but cannot vote
iii.
Club year runs from end of Tournament (August typ.) to the beginning of the next
(July typ.)
iv.
Finance all income paid directly to club

Website to be annually paid for from interior of club
v.
Anything requiring a signature must be made so by a persons age 18 or above
vi.
Must be one club official (declared by seniors or regional coordinator if senior not
available) at each meeting if it is to be an OGC event
vii.
Health and Safety guidelines are defined at each venue, and participants are
expected to follow all procedure and accept full responsibility for themselves
viii.
Member disagreements must be resolved immediately through consultation with
club officials. Seniors must maintain a healthy relationship between participating
members. The core committee will decide any disciplinary action that is necessary.
